December 18, 2009 - INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PROTEST against Avatar

So these people, decided to protest against AVATAR(which was a great movie) to do this :

1) To make all people aware that heterosexual arrogance, assumptions or exclusions of alternative sexualities in movies is no longer acceptable. Diversity and tolerance are human rights.

2) To speak out for all gay, bi-sexual, genderless and transgender people who are not represented by any character in Avatar.

3) To educate people about Evolution and humanity's transition to transgenderism.

I am not at all against gays, but this is ridicolous. This is just a movie, and there are many movies about the future that does not have any gays in it. Why protest about this one?

The Road movie review

In The Road,  Viggo Mortenson plays as a father who tries to survive this horrible post-apocalyptic wasteland with his son, whom all he has left.This movie is based on Cormac McCarthy's Pulitzer prize-winning book   

In the future of The Road, the world is a horrible,dark and savage place.People betray other people, kill, murder and even eat others to survive. Definelty not my kind of post-apocalyptic world. The story is unclear in how the world came to end and what actully happend, but that helps made this story a very dark tale.

John Hillcoat (director) definelty did a good job in making this story very dark. You know it works when you watch a movie and you kinda feel the uncomfortability and psychological pain that the characters are feeling.
Well this movie definelty did that, with the help of Viggo, who played as dad. Charlize Theron also gave a good performance, but she didn't play a big role in this movie.


If you like dark, emotional, desolate, grim , father and son story. Then this movie is one that you won't forget

Sherlock Holmes Review

The last movie I saw which was directed by Guy Ritchie was Rock n Rolla, which was a fairly intertaining movie, actully it was a pretty damn good gangster movie in a while.

Anyways, me and a couple of friends decided to go watch this movie on christmas day. This movie turn out to be a pretty good thriller and very entertaining one.

Robert Downey Jr. definelty made a good Sherlock Holmes, and Guy Ritchie definelty made this Sherlock Holmes a very interesting character. He's not your average Sherlock Holmes that wears that goofy hat, but in this movie he's not wearing a trench coat (trench coats are cool) but he does smoke his pipe. Anyway this version of Holmes turns out to be quite a cool guy and a very intresting man.

Jude Law also made a good Dr.John Watson, which was Holmes' sidekick, he is not to overshadowed by Holmes which is great and the relationship between Watson and Holmes is pretty interesting and a bit of a bromance.Rachel McAdams also gave a satisfying performance as usual.

The story is kind of complex and keeps you interested, and Holmes' fighting instinct and the point of view of his way of thinking, give the 'cool' factor.

The film making is well done, and although i don't know how close this verson of Sherlock Holmes is to the original version of the book. This is Sherlock Holmes like never before. And I'm pretty sure that Holmes and Watson from the book dont have total beast fighting skills, just like in the movie .Although that and a couple of funny lines makes this movie fresh and enjoyable.

The only thing that I wasn't fully satisfied about, is Rachel McAdams. We want to see more of her!
